Hi there,

My laptop fell down the stairs and now a corner of the screen is broken. Touch still works on the rest of the screen, but the screen at the broken corner acts like it would do some touch actions all the time (I hope that you get what I mean). When I deactivate the whole touchscreen, I can use my device as a normal laptop, but because only a small, not very important part of the touchscreen is defect, I'd like to use the rest of the touchscreen normally (service doesn't pay off). For that, I'd like to activate the touchscreen exept for that broken corner. Is there any way to do this?

Thank you and best regards

Simon

This sounds like hardware related issue with the touchscreen digitizer. and complete display assembly needs to be replaced
Hence, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:
