HP ProBook x360 440 G1 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have noticed yesterday that my screen doesn't respond to touches anymore as well as the cursor blinks rapidly and teleports automatically to the top left of the screen.

All my drivers are updated and there are no cracks on the screen or the body of the notebook. Anyone got any suggestions to what the issue might be and what can be done? Thank you.

It could most likely be a hardware issue on the touchpad.

Is the warranty on the laptop still valid? Perhaps you can take it for repairs or get a replacement.

The issue persists even if i disable the touchpad and connect an external mouse.

Yes I have around 6 months of warranty left though.

Then use the warranty before it expires ASAP.
