The touchscreen on my laptop is malfunctioning and acting like someone is pressing across the screen. It started this after I tried doing some updates and I’ve never dropped it or damaged it. I tried restarting but now it’s clicking the login button and locking me out so I can’t even log back in. Any suggestions for what to do?

Hello,

I took it to a repair shop to do a diagnosis. There is a problem with the hardware in the display. They ordered a whole new display which will cost about $250. Thanks for your assistance.
