Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!

HP Chromebook x360 - 14-da0012dx
Chrome OS

My touchscreen suddenly stopped working, and when I look at the settings, I see no reference to TouchScreen preferences, as if it was never a tactile device. I tried powerwashing the notebook, as suggested, but it is still in the same situation. What could be happening? How can I fix it? Thanks!

Hi @JeronimoGz,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

This could be a hardware issue, as you have already performed powerwash and still the issue remains.

This might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue via remote assistance.

Thanks for your reply

Unfortunately, the suggestions are for Windows OS, and my Chromebook runs on Chrome OS, so I can't use those options
