We have a table and the touch screen is not working. I updated the BIOS to 1.18, and the Wacom driver is the latest from HP. However, when we try to install it we get the following message:
Wacom Device: Driver is not for intended platform.

I'm having this same exact problem, and have been experiencing it for several weeks. I've called HP's tech support line but the tech there wasn't able to help me fix this. I posted on this forum a couple of weeks ago and got no response.
HP! HELP US FIX THESE MULTI-THOUSAND DOLLAR LAPTOPS THAT ARE MISSING BASIC/CORE FUNCTIONALITY!
THANKS.

We tried an older drive than the one listed on HPs site. We had to use sp79634. Only on our most recent purchases. We have many others running sp80842 from Jun 16 2017.
Go to https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-x360-1030-g2/14169372
open the Wacom AES digitizer ling, and choose previous version. Try the one dated Apr 5, 2017.

Hi HP,
Any updates on this?
Both Image Assistant and the website:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-x360-1030-g2/14169372
are offering a version ofWacom AES Digitizer Driver that does not work with System Model HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2. Image Assistant at least has an advisory, but no reference to this forum or HP KB.
Instaling driver: sp88927.exe released Jul 11 2018 results in the touchscreen not working. (7.3.4.30)
sp80842.exe released Jun 16 2017 works. (7.3.0004.0052)
