Product: HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 Notebook PC

The touchscreen suddenly stopped working with no clue of what happened. I even checked event manager. This is what I have already tried:
Disable and reenable the touch screen from device manager
Reinstall the touchscreen driver
Updated all the drivers
Reinstalled windows and repeated what I did above
Please help me to fix it because it's one of my favorite features of the laptop.
