I am having issues connecting 2 external monitors to my Windows 11 laptop (HP 15-dy1051wm). I am able to connect one monitor using the HDMI port but there is not a second HDMI port on my laptop. I purchased a 7 in 1 USB C hub from Dockteck so I could plug the HDMI cable from my second monitor into it and then plug the USB C into my laptop but each time I get a code 43 error/port reset failed. According to the specifications, my graphics card can support up to 3 displays. Note: I've already checked for Windows updates and used the HP support assistant
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
