Hi @Sylosis, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xA00F4244 in the Camera app usually indicates that Windows cannot detect the camera. Since you are unable to find the camera driver for your HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-ee0xxx, follow these steps:

Check if the Camera is Disabled

  1. Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
  3. If you see your camera, right-click it and select Enable (if disabled).
  4. If it is not listed, go to View > Show Hidden Devices and check again.

Reinstall the Camera Driver

If the camera appears in Device Manager:

  1. Uninstall the driver:
    • Right-click the camera device.
    • Click Uninstall device and check Delete the driver software for this device.
    • Restart your laptop, and Windows should reinstall the default driver automatically.

If the camera does not appear in Device Manager:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
  3. If the camera still does not appear, move to the next step.

Manually Install HP Camera Driver

Since HP does not provide a standalone camera driver for your model, try the following:

Option 1: Use Windows Update

  1. Open Settings > Windows Update.
  2. Click Check for updates.
  3. If an optional driver update is available, install it.

Option 2: Use Generic Windows Camera Driver

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Right-click your camera (if available) and select Update driver.
  3. Choose Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers.
  4. Select USB Video Device and click Next.

Option 3: Install a Compatible HP Driver

  • Try downloading a similar driver from another HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-ee0XXX model (like 15m-ee0013dx).
  • Visit HP Support and enter your laptop's serial number to check for available drivers.

Run Windows Camera Troubleshooter

  1. Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
  2. Ensure camera access is enabled for apps.
  3. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters.
  4. Run the Camera troubleshooter.

Check BIOS Settings

  1. Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter BIOS.
  2. Look for Built-in Device Options.
  3. Ensure the Camera is enabled.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
