Hi @Palak_Chhajed,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Certainly! If you're experiencing issues with touchpad gestures like two-finger scrolling on your HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 11, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.

Check Touchpad Settings:

  • Open the Settings app by pressing Win + I.
  • Go to "Devices" and select "Touchpad" from the left sidebar.
  • Ensure that "Touchpad" is set to "On."
  • Make sure that the settings for gestures like two-finger scrolling are enabled.

Update Touchpad Drivers:

  • Open the Device Manager by right-clicking the Start button and selecting "Device Manager."
  • Locate and expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" section.
  • Right-click on your touchpad device (it might be listed as "HID-compliant touch pad" or something similar) and select "Update driver."
  • Choose the option to search for updated driver software automatically. If an update is found, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Roll Back Touchpad Driver:

  • If updating the driver doesn't work, you can try rolling back to the previous driver version.
  • In the Device Manager, right-click on your touchpad device, select "Properties," go to the "Driver" tab, and click on "Roll Back Driver" if the option is available.

Reinstall Touchpad Drivers:

  • In the Device Manager, uninstall the touchpad driver by right-clicking on the device and selecting "Uninstall device."
  • After uninstalling, restart your laptop. Windows will automatically reinstall the touchpad driver.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure that your Windows 11 operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any pending updates.

HP Support Assistant:

  • If you have HP Support Assistant installed on your laptop, open it and check for updates and driver installations specific to your HP Pavilion model.

BIOS/UEFI Update:

  • Check HP's official website for any BIOS or UEFI updates for your specific laptop model. Updating the system firmware may resolve compatibility issues.

Check for Third-Party Software Conflicts:

  • Some third-party applications or utilities may interfere with touchpad functionality. Try disabling or uninstalling recently installed software to see if it makes a difference.

Remember to back up your important data before making any significant changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
