Hi there,
Hoping someone can help me - I've looked through various options online to no avail.
The two finger scroll function has stopped working on my clickpad. I've looked in settings (under the touchpad and mouse menu) and can't see anything relating to the two-finger scroll function at all. I've reinstalled the HP synaptics driver too. Any ideas on how to resolve this are most appreciated,
Many thanks

Hi@FrankieJ7, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you have issues using 2 finger scrolling on your laptop.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes to your laptop?
Please provide the product number of your laptop to assist you better.
As you mentioned the touchpad 2 finger scrolling has stopped functioning on your laptop.
Try the steps recommended below.
In the Windows search box, type TouchPad. From the results list click TouchPad settings. Click Additional settings. Click the TouchPad Settings or the ClickPad Settings tab. If you have a Synaptics device, the tab includes the Synaptics icon. You can adjust the TouchPad settings for scrolling. Put a checkmark in the check box next to scrolling to enable scrolling. Also, put a checkmark next to two-finger scrolling to enable two-finger scrolling. Try uninstalling the touchpad drivers from the device manager and install the latest touchpad drivers and check if it helps. Uninstall the touchpad drivers from the device manager and install touchpad drivers using HP recovery manager and check if it helps.
Refer to this article to know how to restore drivers using HP recovery manager.
Also, update the BIOS and touchpad drivers using HP support assistant if the issue persists.

Hi Praveen,
Thank you for replying.
I have upgraded the memory and added a SSD - would this have affected it?
The product is Pavilion 14, 14-BK063SA.
I began your steps but when I got to "If you have a Synaptics device, the tab includes the Synaptics icon. You can adjust the TouchPad settings for scrolling. Put a checkmark in the check box next to scrolling to enable scrolling. Also, put a checkmark next to two-finger scrolling to enable two-finger scrolling" this option wasn't visible to me. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers downloaded from your website - file name 'sp49195'
I don't see anything pertaining to two finger scrolling in the menus which is the problem.
Is there a way of me adding a screenshot?
Very best,
Francesca
