Can I use two monitors with my laptop? How can I tell based on my particular laptop and how would I set that up? Thanks!

@GTLorenzo

With a right docking station, all notebooks support 2 or more external monitors. I've been using 2 monitors with notebooks from the last century.

Before we can help, we need to know what EXACTLY is your HP Pavilion 15z ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Regards.

My new laptop Pavilion 14T(I think) has no external vga output and HP doesn't make anything that will work although they sold be a USB-C to VGA adapter but the USB-C is only for data on my machine apparently so I returned the adapter.  I ended up with a HDMI to VGA adapter with a small DC5V micro usb and an audio output as well.  It doesn't work as well as my old computer's VGA port but It's OK when using a presentation projector.  Can't get the output picture as large as the old computer but it's OK.  I used the VictSing cable but there may be others out there that will work differently.  Hope this helps.
