Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have read of issues when connecting the HP U28 4K monitor to an m1 Mac mini. A lot of these posts are from a year or more ago, but it appears that whilst the issue on the Mac side may have been resolved, there were changes needed from monitor manufacturers, and it appears that HP monitors do not support Mac in that way. Does anyone have this monitor and Mac combination, and do you have issues? I have ordered this monitor, and since read of the problems, and would like to sort the issue in time for the arrival of my Mac.
