Hello everyone!
I have this HP Pavilion - 15-cs0061cl that states in the specifications that it has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge).
I have tried the following to use the DisplayPort™ 1.2:
1. USB-C to HDMI direct cable = didn't work.
2. USB-C to HDMI adapter (and used a separate HDMI cable) = didn't work.
3. USB-C to Displayport direct cable = didn't work.
4. USB-C to Displayport adapter and a DP cable = It will arrive on Sunday and I already lost hope.
Am I missing something in the process? Should I do something different than plug-and-play? (actually is plug-and-try-to-play)
Thanks for your help guys.

@Ben-Gee
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
USB Type-C is a smaller, reversible USB connector that can transmit data, video, audio, and data (USB 3.1) as well as provide charging power to many devices (USB power delivery or PD).
USB Type-C ports support adapters that can output different types of video such as HDMI, VGA, and DisplayPort, all from one USB Type-C port on your computer or device.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 2 USB 2.0; 1 USB 3.0; 1 HDMI; 1 RJ-45; 1 headphone/microphone combo installed on the PC.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

After trying several times, I connected a Digitalport adapter with a Digitalport cable. The computer made a sound and display the following message:
"Display connection might be limited"
And I don't know what to do.
