my laptop not reconizing the USB-C to HDMI adapter to set up my 3rd moniter did Windows + P and still only showing 2 monitors the laptop screen and 1 additional tv i need a 3rd on to muti task on all 3 with diffrent windows open

It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

 

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (and keep the main screen), you can use


M1: HDMI direct cable

M2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                   https://www.amazon.com.au/CableCreation-Adapter-Windows-Compatible-2560x1440/dp/B013G4CJM8
