Greetings,
I've tried two different third party docking hubs. The Selore@SGlobal wasn't recognized at all, and the J5Create Triple (JCD543) won't allow the second monitor to display. Do we think this is a driver issue, or a general compatibility issue with this laptop?
Your help is appreciated,

HP 15s-FQ2000is probably is a CTO machine. Anyway, in terms of ports, your machine should have similar ports of the following machine
which shows it ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port. That port does NOT support Alt mode therefore you can't connect it to an external monitor with nor without adapter/hub/dock.
Regards.
