HP Spectre x360 13.5 in with windows 11 - 23H2 (intel i7)
Have been having external monitor connectivity issues almost since purchase.
3 different USB-C hubs have been used to connect HDMI-HDMI to an external monitor but does not work.
only the only USB dongle hub supplied with HP in the box works.
Now i purchase another DP to USB-C (8K @ 60Hz) cable and the external screen still does not want to show up.
the monitor running is a Wide 2K 3440 x 1440 @ 100Hz.
The same cable and monitor work when connected to another monitor, but constantly fails on the HP x360.
Surface studio( i5 with intel iris)

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/ish_7694497-7694541-16
It has (2) USB4™ with Thunderbolt™ Type-C ports; 40 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) ports. In theory you can NOT get anything over the DP 1.4 specs.

Must be by some reasons HP supplied that adapter. Please note: All vendors claim STANDARD USB-C but most of the times that was their STANDARDs, not everyone standard.
Regards.
