I have recently bought a portable monitor to work with my HP 15s-fq1505na laptop. This monitor is meant to work and be powered via just 1 usb-c cable. However my laptop is not recognising this. I can work around by externally powering the monitor and using the HDMi port but then I have cables everywhere and need an additional power source. When I use the external power the usb-c doesn't connect and I get the error message shown below.
I've tried resetting the usb drivers but all are up to date.
The monitor is a Arzopa S1.
The laptop details are:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.19 GHz
Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.70 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 10 Education
Version 21H2
OS build 19044.2846
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0
Thanks
