I bought this item from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QKVY23Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I am able to use this to split to dual monitors on my work lenovo laptop. It does not seem to be supported by my Envy 13 laptop. Any suggestions on how to use both monitors? Laptop only has 1 usb c port and 1 hdmi port.
Thanks,
Sballa

The specs of your machine is

The USB-C port on your machine is not compatible with your USB-C adapter.

The USB-C port does not support video out as shown above therefore you need an adapter or a dock/port replicator.
If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

or try following HP docks

@banhien Would something like this work? https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Universal-Docking-Station-Ethernet/dp/B08B6FMPTP/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?dch...
This computer is getting old (3 years old) and I'd like to avoid spending a couple hundred bucks to get dual monitors... I'd probably be better off just spending a bit more and getting a new laptop that would support dual screens.

I can see its DisplayLink Certified sticker on it. Given that is a TRUE sticker, it should work, at least with USB-A port.
Regards.
