I have 2018 HP Pavilion Laptop Model 15-cs0025cl with one HDMI port and one USB-C port that I'm using to connect to two external monitors. The HDMI port works great and I can connect to one of my external monitors. However, when I use USB-C port to connect HP USB-C to HDMI HDMI Adapter for second monitor, it is not working properly. I appreciate any input you might have. Thanks.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06156386
It ONLY has 1 USB Type-C™ 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only, up to 5Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine
- Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter
Regards.

You can use normal USB-A to HDMI Adapter with DisplayLink certified to connect to a second external monitor.
