HP 14 (2021) , (14s- dy2501tu)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to connect two monitors to my HP 14 laptop,

The monitor connected directly to HDMI port is working perfect but the other monitor connected to USB-C port through an adopter (USB-C to HDMI ) is showing "DISPLAY CONNECTION MIGHT BE LIMITED".

Please help how I can connect a monitor by using USB-C port

Thanks!

The specs of your machine is

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c07551817

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

OK, as USB - C port is not supporting to connect external monitor can I use USB 3.0 to HDMI(or USB 3.0 to VGA) adapter to connect 3rd monitor to my HP 14s laptop?
