Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 650 G5 laptop and want to connect a monitor with USB-c. According to the specifications, the 650 G5 should support USB-C displayport.

When I connect the monitor I get the message that the USB device is not recognized. The monitor works perfectly on other laptops so the monitor works well. Another monitor with HDMI works well on my laptop.

What could be the problem?

How do you connect your machine from USB-C to your monitor ?
