USB connection

I have the following laptop:
I want to connect it to my TV and HP Monitor using the following HDMI adapter:
Sabrent USB Type-C Dual HDMI Adapter [Supports Up to Two 4K 30Hz Monitors
It requires that the USB-C port supports "DisplayPort Alternate Mode" ? Is it the case?

What is your hp pavilion laptop 14-ce3xxx ? For example
Your machine probably has same ports as above machine which has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port. That USB-C port does NOT support Alt mode.
Regards.

Yes my machine is a hp pavilion laptop 14-ce3xxx. Would you know any other HDMI adaptor I could use to work, in extend mode, both on my HP 24 fw Display monitor and my Medion TV?
