Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When using the adapter, not getting the second display detected. However, USB is detected, and Generic PnP Monitor shows up in Devices and Printers Panel. Under Display settings, It shows two displays but both are the laptop. On the projector screen, I see a black screen and the cursor.

How do I get my normal laptop screen to show on the projector?

I don't use a projector but I do use an external monitor -- and it is connected via a USB-to-VGA adapter.

You have to go the the adapter supplier and download the proper driver for it.  I had to do that before my adapter worked properly.
