I am already using the available HDMI port to extend the display but I want to use a second monitor. When I plug in the monitor to the USBC port or a USB C docking station, the display is not detented. Is there any other option to use 2 monitor display?

Your machine is a CTO machine, I can't get its REAL specs. From manual of the series, it has (1) USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port (supports data transfer) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine
- Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)
