I have a new HP Envy laptop. It's great except for the clickpad scrolling, which is driving me crazy. There's a half-second delay between when I start two-finger scrolling and when the system acts on this. I've googled around and I see that I' m not the only one to have this issue. I would like to adjust the clickpad settings to see if I can improve things.
I've read through this doc which instructs me to go to touchpad settings and click on 'additional settings'. It then tells me I should see a tab called 'Clickpad settings', but I don't see this tab. What do I need to do to make this tab appear?
By the way, I've tried updating the driver for the clickpad. It tells me I'm already using the latest one.

Try the following.
Download the latest Synaptics driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp86501-87000/sp86764.exe
Open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'. From the new layout open Programs and Features, right click the entry 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has fully reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click the Synaptics installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again.

You're welcome
The driver link I posted is not the latest version, however I believe it will provide the ClickPad settings tab you require.
