Yesterday, I attempted to install the latest AMD Graphics driver update for my laptop. As soon as the laptop rebooted, I got a BSOD with Windows reporting AMDPPM.SYS to be the culprit. I ran the AMD Cleanup Utility and tried re-installing the driver from scratch. Things seemed to be okay until a few minutes ago when the exact same error occurred. I never had this issue with the previous drivers and I can't revert to the previous package by HP because that package won't install on Windows 10 build 1909 (it wants 1903, and I had updated to 1909). Also, I noticed that the new driver package did not install any kind of AMD utilities. I wondered if this was an intentional change or not. Any help or response would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: I was able to modify the batch installer for the previous driver package so it would install on Windows 10 1909. I'm still wondering about this latest one, though.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the graphics driver on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I did try it again and the exact same problem occurred after running the installer. After that, I went into the separate folders of each of the drivers ("display", "hdmi", "smbus", etc.) and installed each of the .INF files individually to see if that would fix the problem. It didn't. Curiously, the .MSI installers for the individual drivers in those folders would not install. I would launch them and they would say "this installer package does not work with this version of Windows". Yes, I did double-check that these were the 1909 drivers. The HP installer that extracts all of the drivers and the batch files seem to work just fine, but I'm wondering if these .MSI issues could be related to the instability problems I'm having. As for the question I had about the AMD Radeon Settings program not installing with the new drivers, I found that it is there, but you have to install it manually. Even after installing that, though, I still had the BSOD problems, so I gave up and ran System Restore to revert Windows to before I even attempted installing the new drivers.

I recommend you perform a system reset on the computer following the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

So, I re-installed Windows 10 and was in the process of installing the drivers. I had installed the video driver, no problem. As soon as I installed the audio driver and rebooted, I got the exact same BSOD error with AMDPPM.SYS being credited as the culprit. I really don't know what the issue could be now. I never had issues like this before. I'm not sure if I should just let this be or if there's something I can do about it.
UPDATE: I think I figured it out. I think it has something to do with the Visual C++ Redistributable packages you have installed. I remember having problems with those with regular AMD drivers in the past. So, I re-installed Windows a third time, and this time, I made sure I installed all of the necessary Visual C++ packages prior to installing the driver...and it worked! I then upgraded to 1909 again and installed the new driver (I uninstalled and re-installed the Visual C++ packages to be on the safe side), and it seems to be working just fine. Now that I've thought about this, it makes sense. My Visual C++ packages must have been corrupted before. I hadn't messed with them after I had first installed them. Well, thanks for your help, and I apologize for bothering you with this.
