Unstable HDMI connection to monitor

Dear all,

I have a HDMI problem. Whenever i connect my laptop to a monitor or a tv through HDMI the connection is unstable.

The screen is choppy. The sounds and image works perfectly fine most of the time, but after a couple of minutes the monitor / TV goes black and the sounds go off. After a couple of seconds the screen shows image and plays sounds again. This process repeats itself constantly.

I have tested this with multiple monitors and HDMI-cables, but the problem stays the same.

I already have updated all the drivers.

First thing I would do: Replace the HDMI cable, please try version 2.0 cable.
