Hi, guys. I purchased the laptop 640 g1, but the display quality is too bad for me. Because I want to improve the lcd by replacing it with 1920 * 1080 glossy ips. Can you please tell us what type of 1366 * 768 single-channel or dual-channel cable is used and are there any varieties of lsd cable? My model has a processor i5 4300m without an external video card. I'm grateful for the answers.

See p. 43 of the Manual here:

Manual

The same cable is specified for both HD (1366 x 768) and FHD (1920 x 1080) panels so all you will need to do is swap in a replacement panel.

This is the best panel offered by HP:

14-in. WLED FHD, UWVA 747753-001

Its not an IPS but it is a UWVA and is matte, not glossy. You probably know you can swap in any panel with the correct connections and it will work.

Not recommending this (grade B units) but shows what kind of panel it is: 30 pin lower right connection:

This one claims to be IPS and glossy and is at a very good price:

Many thanks for the answer. It does not appear to arise problems with the cable? It is released in a single modification for all display resolutions? I'm interested in buying and installing a matrix of this type as per the link http://www.panelook.com/B140HAN01.0_AUO_14.0_LCM_overview_18918.html

Your opinion will be very relevant to me. Thanks

Not my opinion it's just reading from the Manual. Some models have different cables for HD and FHD....yours has a single cable and both resolutions were an option so logically the same cable works on both resolutions.

I tested with a matrix from Dell, Unfortunately the complete cable was not able to provide support for the monitor 1920 * 1080, as it turned out it consists of only 14 wires of the display eDP connector. Now the question is where to get the circuit and see the pinout connector and where to buy the cable under 1920 * 1080, and what is its marking?

Yes, gentlemen! branded chip HP matrix of low quality. however, there is a way out! successfully replaced on his laptop hp 640 G1. The matrix approached: N140hca-eab. Changes simply and analogues it has a lot!
