Product: HP Pavilion Laptop - 15z touch
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I have a 15.6" diagonal HD SVA BrightView micro-edge WLED-backlit touch screen (1366 x 768) for HP Pavilion Laptop

and I want to upgrade to an FHD screen. Is there any 3rd party screen will fit my laptop ? Do I need to buy HP part ?

Sorry, but we are not allowed to recommend non-HP parts -- as they could damage the PC and void its warranty.

 

As to HP parts, if alternative screens are available and compatible, they would be listed when you use this utility to get a parts list for your PC:  http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=E0J90UA

I did not mean non-hp part, I want to use HP part, but I dont know what exactly parts I need for upgrading.

I heard that I need to buy a full-hd LCD panel and a cable, is that right? and can you recommend me where to buy them ?

Model Description: HP PAVILION 15Z-CW100 LAPTOP.

 

I searched cable on http://partsurfer.hp.com/ then it shows several cable for my model but I dont know what cable is for lcd full-hd
