Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p100dx (ENERGY STAR)
Hello
As the subject suggests, i'm looking to upgrade the display on my laptop to a 1920 x 1080 (FHD) one, the current display is a LTN156AT35-H01 1366 x 768 (HD) and looks like it has a 40 pin connector and according to Intel HD Graphics support panel this is a EDP connection.
Display adapter
My question is, how many lanes does my EDP 40 pin connector have? I've seen what i believe to be a perfect 1080p replacement display but it says EDP 40 pin 2 lane, if mine is also 2 lane i'm 99% sure this will plug and play, but if mine is less/more lanes then it won't work? Any help understanding this better would be much appreciated,
Thanks
