Dear HP Support Team,
I am writing to express my deep concern and seek urgent assistance regarding a critical issue with my HP Envy X360, which I purchased approximately six months ago. I chose this device to upgrade from a standard laptop to a touch-enabled one, expecting a high-quality experience. However, I am now facing a problem that has severely impacted my daily usage.
The touchscreen display of the laptop has started showing discoloration, specifically a yellowish tint in circular spots on the corners and lower part of the screen. This issue becomes especially noticeable when a light-colored wallpaper is used. Initially, there were only one or two spots, but within a week, they have increased in number and intensity, making it impossible to ignore.
It is important to highlight that the laptop has not been subjected to any physical damage, nor have there been any hardware or software modifications. This problem has emerged entirely out of nowhere.
As a student, I rely heavily on this laptop for my studies and assignments, using it daily for extended periods. This issue has become a major hindrance to my productivity. When I reached out to customer support, I was informed that such problems are not covered under the factory warranty and that I would need to purchase an additional warranty for ₹8000. I find this response deeply disappointing and unfair, especially given that this issue is not due to negligence or misuse on my part but rather appears to be a manufacturing defect.
I urge you to reconsider this matter under the warranty terms, as the device is still relatively new and has been handled with care. Resolving this issue promptly would restore my confidence in HP's commitment to its customers and its product quality.
Please address this issue at the earliest. I am confident that HP, as a reputable brand, values customer satisfaction and will provide a fair resolution to this matter.
Looking forward to your prompt and positive response.
