Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi does my laptop support usb c charging at 87w 20v  I'm curious as thunderbolt usually does support this and I would like to be sure before buying a PSU

The specs of your machine is

 

       https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06378320

 

It requires 200W PSU/Charger therefore you need around that amount of wattage to be able to run and charge your machine at the same time. Physically with 87W, you should be able to charge your machine when not running OR doing very little work OR overnight.
