Hello,
I wanted to know if it was possible to use 3 monitors (my laptop screen + 2 monitors) with my laptop, using my HP USB Travel Dock. On the Intel website, it says it is possible ('# of Displays Supported' here: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/95443/intel-core-i57200u-processor-3m-cache-up-...) but yesterday I cant make it work (only 1 of the 2 monitors is working at the same time). Is it HP or my processor that is not being able to work with 3 monitors ?
If it is actually possible, how should I plug the monitors on my Travel Dock : 1 VGA and 1 HDMI or 2 VGA with a VGA splitter ?
Here are some characteristics of the different devices:
Laptop: HP Spectre x360
Processor: Intel Core i5-7200U
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 620
2 monitors : LG 22EN33T & LG 22M37D
Resolution: 1920x1080
Diagonal: 21.5"
VGA
HP USB Travel Dock
2 USB 3.0, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI
Thanks a lot for your help !

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05582739
It has 2 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 2 (HP Sleep and Charge, Thunderbolt Gen 3) ports. You should be able to connect 2 external monitors daisy chain to one USB-C port but looks like your monitors do not support that. You should be able to connect 2 external monitors using 1 monitor on HDMI port and 1 monitor for VGA port (native VGA connection, NO conversion).
Regards.

Thank you for your answer !
I'm not sure to understand the "native VGA connection, NO conversion" since both of the 2 monitors are with VGA. However, I'll have to convert one of the VGA to HDMI. Or, I could split my VGA port on my dock but I dont know if it will work.
To be more precise, I didnt try with these 2 monitors for now since I dont have the conversion wire needed, but I did try with one of them and antoher one which is HDMI and have a better resolution. It didnt wotk with those 2 and this is why I wanted to know if my laptop supports 2 monitors before buying the right conversion wire for my 2nd monitor.
I understand you're telling me that it should be possible but then I just dont get why it didnt work with the 2 monitors.
