Hi,
I have the same question that was posted in
I clicked the link provided in the but it returns a message saying "We're sorry
HP Customer Support site is temporarily unavailable.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back later."
My HP EliteBook 850 G4 laptop product number is X4B22AV and the dock part number is D9Y19AV#ABA .
Also when I entered my laptop's serial number on the support page for the drivers, it said none were found.
The dock does work when I had two other monitors connected. I was given a LG 49" monitor and when connected to the dock, the recommended resolution of 5120x1440 is not available (just that monitor connected). I updated the BIOS on my machine which allowed me to use that resolution when connected directly to the laptop and not in the dock.
With laptop in the dock, trying to use the displayport on the laptop for the LG 49" does not work.
Is there another dock model I could use to have the resolution or setting I can change that would allow me to place the laptop in the dock but still use the laptop's side displayport connector?
Edit: The LG monitor also uses a USB-C connector if that provides another way to connect to the laptop.
Thank you.

Please use the following list

I don't think the HP UltraSlim Docking Station gives you 5120x1440 resolution option
Regards.

Banhien,
Thank you for the response. I had starting looking at those docks and was told that the USB-C port on HP EliteBook 850 G4 could not support the resolution when connecting to any of those.
Any idea if I can use the displayport on the laptop when it is in the dock?
Thanks.
