I have the HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp011dx. I have one USB Type-C port with the lightning bolt charge indicator. I am not able to use a power bank to charge the laptop. The only thing I can do is use the laptop to charge the power bank or other accessories that are type-c compatible. Does that mean my version of the HP is not compatible to use a power bank to charge my laptop or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!!!

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05567133
It requires a 45 W AC power adapter. My questions
- What is the rating (wattage) of your power bank ?
- Is it compatible with your notebook ?
Regards

Thank you for getting back. It's a 100W power bank that I am plugging directly into the USB Type-C port. When I put it in the Out slot on the power bank nothing happens and when it's in the In slot it charges the power bank from the laptop.
It is a Lilatu Power Bank

That is a great question. Is there a way to tell if the power bank is compatible with my HP version? Is there a way to find out which power banks are compatible with it? It said on the package it supports HP laptops and does work with my other HP laptop. Could it be this Envy which is over 4 years old at this point doesn't have the type of USB C that allows external devices to charge the lap top?
