Hi,
I recently bought the Envy X360, but I cannot connect to my projector, which has a VGA input cable, that I then convert to HDMI.
The Envy comes with an HDMI to USBc adaptor, but when I use that the display is not recognised, or rather, it behaves as if there is a lose connection by momentarily recognising it and then losing it again.
The VGA to HDMI works on other windows 10 laptops.
My USBc works on other screens.
So HP sent me a new HDMI to USBc adaptor, but that does not work either; exactly the same result.
Is anyone aware of any issues the laptop may have with software, drivers or something(?), in recognising old VGA connectors / projectors?
I'm thinking of buying a VGA to USBc direct adaptor, but wanted to ask this first, in case it's been seen before.
Many thanks,
Gareth

What EXACTLY is your Envy x360 ? Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine

For YOUR security reason, please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n) on Internet.
Regards.
