Hello,
I just got my new computer, and after testing the touch and pen capabilities, I noticed that something was wrong with the screen. When touch mode is activated, it seems like the computer thinks something is touching it along a vertical, 1 cm wide rectangular area that stretches from the bottom of the screen to the top. When deactivating touch, the disturbance is ignored, but the pen does not work within in the same area. Has anyone seem anything similar? I am afraid I have to send it to support, but I really need the computer for work asap.

Hello. I have the same laptop model in my company. In mine, there are three vertical bands in the touchscreen that has no sensitivity with the HP Active Pen. This is disappointing. The same happens on other 2 laptops in the same company, although the vertical bands are in other position. I suspect that a whole production lot is defective, and that is not good. Doesn't seem to be a SW problem
