Spectre x360 15in
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My mother and I bought the HP Spectre x360 15 inch laptop ( Product Number: 2LV24UA ) around November 2018 (meaning our warranties are expired now) and recently both laptops started having this problem.

When first starting the computer, the start logo for HP glitches and blurs for around 5 seconds then boots into windows.

Then after logging in we get these persisting vertical transparent lines that move along with any window on the display. There is also image burn-in on the screen as well.

Since both our laptops are experiencing the same exact phenomenon, I'm thinking more people are experiencing this as well. How could we fix this?

Note: These vertical lines don't appear on an external monitor and only on the internal laptop monitor.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
