My screen on my laptop went very dark after it slid off my lap onto the floor it didn't even hit the ground hardly at all and now the screen brightness is very dark.. Please help me get it to work

It sounds like a broken backlight. Try moving your screen to different angles to see if it kicks on at a particular angle. If it does, you might just have a loose connector. If it doesn't, you'll probably need to replace the LCD panel.
