HP Notebook 17-X116DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Will my HP Notebook 17-X116DX support a video card?  Was purchased in 2017, came with integrated Intel HD 620 for 1600x900 screen.  Would like to stick in an NVideo or GeForce 2 GB card.  Is there an open slot?

Hi:

The GPU's are part of the motherboard.

In order to upgrade the graphics, the motherboard has to be replaced with one listed in the service manual that may come with better graphics.

Doing such an upgrade would cost several hundred dollars at the very least.
