Hi @HarryM2

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Yes, your HP 17 Laptop PC 17-cp2000 running Windows 11 is fully capable of supporting a video visit with a doctor. It’s equipped with the essential hardware and software features needed for a smooth telehealth experience:

Key Capabilities for Video Visits

Built-in Webcam: This model includes an integrated HD webcam positioned above the display. If it’s not immediately detected, check for a privacy shutter or use Fn + [camera icon key] to enable it.

Microphone and Speakers: The laptop comes with a built-in microphone and stereo speakers, suitable for clear two-way communication.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: With 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth support, you’ll have stable connectivity for video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or browser-based telehealth portals.

Windows 11 Compatibility: The operating system supports all major video calling applications and includes built-in privacy and accessibility features.

Display and Performance: A 17.3" FHD screen and capable processor (typically AMD Ryzen or Intel Core) ensure smooth video playback and multitasking during your session.

If the Webcam Isn’t Working

If you encounter a message like “No cameras are attached”, it may be due to a disabled device or missing driver. You can resolve this by:

  • Checking for a physical privacy slider near the webcam.
  • Pressing Fn + F10 (or whichever key has the camera icon).
  • Visiting the HP support page for your model to install or update the webcam driver.

You deserve a seamless and stress-free experience during your medical visit. If you’d like help testing your camera or configuring your video app, I’d be glad to walk you through it.

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
