Hello,
I bought my laptop last Saturday and I am trying to find the WLED backlighting. I can see it is screen feature, I am not sure what it does.
Do you know by any chance if the keyboard can be backlighted in this model Pavilion 15-cw1507sa? I have F5 key empty and it does nothing. Usually, this is where the switch for a keyboard is, right?
I hope you all will be patient with me. 😉
Thank you.

@Lilly44, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
If your notebook computer has a backlit keyboard, press the F5 or F4 (some models) key on the keyboard to turn the light on or off. It might be necessary to press the fn (function) key at the same time.
If the backlight icon is not on the F5 key, look for the backlit keyboard key on the row of function keys.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
In the BIOS, select BIOS Setup or BIOS Setup Utility, and then use the arrow keys to navigate to the System Configuration tab. Make sure to enable Action Keys Mode, if it is not enabled already.
NOTE: Your BIOS version and screens might vary.
Let me know how this goes.
