HP Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello! I have a question about the compatibility of wacom stylus and computers. I just bought a new laptop (Pavilion x360 14m-ba011dx) because my old one is about 6 years old and I thought it would be cool if I could draw on my touch screen rather than just on a tablet slate. I use drawing programs like clip studio paint and sai paint too. I've adjusted the the settings for both programs and installed the latest drivers but nothing picks up? Though I called wacom because my computer isn't detecting any pressure sensitivity and apparently it's not fully compatible with my computer??

@Sadeggplant

According to the list here-your model is not compatible with Wacom pens.

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05166879

It uses HP Pen (Microsoft):

I have read since we started this discussion that Bamboo Ink pen can be switched to the MS protocol which is compatible with your device.  Simply press and hold both side buttons for two seconds for switching. Try it to see if it works.

Hello sorry for bother but can I ask you did Wacom Bamboo Ink pen can be compatible with Pavilion x360 14 in pressure sensivity? I really want to buy wacom bamboo ink pen bcs there's a hint that it could be used and compatible with x360 14 but Im not really sure since if we want to draw/painting digitally, we need pressure sensivity that worked with drawing app like SAI, Photoshop etc

Unfortunately I returned that computer and got a Lenovo (though kinda regretting this and now I wish I got the Surface instead). I liked the Pavilion so much!!! But it wasn't ment to be. After calling wacom and contacting HP (calling them was the worst by the way so I came to the forum) they said it wasn't pressure sensitive compatible. It would read the pen but no pressure detected, though HP has an HP pen which should work with the Pavillion, pressure sensitive and all (though not too sure cause I didn't try that option because there wasn't HP pen available where I live). I work with Sai and Clip Studio Paint. I hope that was helpful in some way!
