MAJORLY DISAPPOINTED!
I purchased the above laptop for my Mom. It worked about a year then the screen display went black. Spent 3+ hours on the phone with HP tech support downloading drivers, upgrading BIOS, as I still had a month left on my warranty. After exhausting the troubleshooting steps, HP sent me materials to ship the laptop to be repaired. It took about 2 weeks but got the laptop back and thought that would be the end of it. But just **SIX WEEKS LATER** the screen is black again, and of course, out of warranty by 3 weeks. I would think not only a new laptop PLUS a repair would last years. I feel like I wasted a bunch of money on a piece of junk, and there's no way to even contact HP support since I'm a few weeks past the warranty. My only recourse is now to hook up a bulky external monitor, keyboard, mouse. I used to be brand loyal to HP but will be looking at other brands going forward.
