HP EliteBook 830 G5

Camera doesn't work.

It used to work.

Device manager recognizes the camera as the following device.

Microsoft/USB Video Device --> USB Boot

I checked Hardware ID.

USB\VID_04CA&PID_706D&REV_0006&MI_00
USB\VID_04CA&PID_706D&MI_00

In the BIOS (Advanced/Built-In Device Options) the entry "Integrated Camera" is no longer listed

I tried BIOS upgrade, Windows Upgrade and Windows Reinstallation.

Neither worked.

HP Elitebook 830 G5

BIOS :  Q78 Ver. 01.22.00

OS    :  Windows 10 21H2

I guess there was a problem with the camera firmware upgrade that was included in a previous BIOS upgrade

A similar case has already been successfully described and solved here but unfortunately the tool/solution does not work on my computer.

Is there anyone who has similar problems with an Elitebook 830 or a solution to my problem?
