Hi @Raj201412,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing video problems with the built-in webcam on your HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop, where the video appears as still pictures or the frames are moving slowly, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

Check for Software Issues:

  • Make sure your webcam software and drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your laptop model.

Reboot Your Laptop:

  • Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches or conflicts that may be causing the issue.

Close Unnecessary Applications:

  • Ensure that no other applications are running in the background that could be consuming system resources and affecting the webcam's performance.

Adjust Webcam Settings:

  • Open the camera app on your laptop and check if there are any settings that need adjustment. Make sure the camera is set to a suitable resolution and frame rate.

Test with Different Software:

  • Try using different video conferencing or recording software to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to one app.

Check for Malware:

  • Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to check for malware or potentially unwanted programs that could be affecting your system's performance.

Hardware Troubleshooting:

  • If software troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue, there could be a hardware problem with the webcam itself.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Sometimes, outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can affect the performance of the webcam. Make sure your graphics drivers are also up-to-date.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure that your Windows operating system is up-to-date by checking for and installing any available updates.

Reset Windows Camera App (if applicable):

  • If you're using the Windows Camera app, you can try resetting it. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find the Camera app, and click on it. Then, select "Advanced options" and click the "Reset" button.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
