Hi @Simon2330,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm really sorry to hear your webcam has suddenly stopped working on Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A7AV), I know how frustrating that can be, especially when everything was working fine before. While I can't receive emails or pictures through email, you can upload the screenshot of the error message or code right here in this community post, and I’ll take a look to help you troubleshoot it directly.

In the meantime, here are a few quick things you can try:

1. Check Camera Privacy Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Camera.
  • Make sure Camera access is turned ON.
  • Scroll down and ensure apps like your browser or Zoom/Teams have permission.

2. Device Manager Check:

  • Press Windows + X > Device Manager.
  • Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
  • If the camera is listed, right-click and choose Enable device or Update driver.
  • If it’s missing or shows an error (yellow triangle), let me know what code it says.

3. Windows Camera App:

  • Open the Camera app from the Start Menu.
  • See if it launches or displays an error.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
