Ksakz said it worked, but I agree it's a bit of a gamble.  The only other option I know of is to get the Realtek program from HP support.

I reached out to HP Support (again) to ask about the file, they emailed me another version (I'm pretty sure it was the same thing), once installed my camera is now working again.
