Error message when trying to use Camera. Camera cannot be found <NoCameraAttached> 

 

I have already followed all troubleshoot suggestions. But still there is no Camera Driver on my device.

This is a tough result.

Having completed all the troubleshooting might leave you with a couple of "not great" options:

  • Reloading Windows in a last ditch attempt to convince the webcam / camera to connect
  • Test the hardware (I realize you have done this) - if it fails, conclude that it is a hardware issue.  What?  It can happen - tiny little wires can be crushed or crimpled in the hinge area, little wires can disconnect or loosen either at the camera or at the motherboard where they connect to the computer.  Much less common, the camera itself might fail.
