Just recently my webcam for facial recognition log-in, video chats and the Camera application (built into the computer) has stopped working. I've tried restarting my computer, restoring it, checking settings, etc. and nothing is working 😞 Can anyone help me fix this?

Hello @NatDesta,
Could you please check the solution mentioned here? Let me know how it goes.
Otherwise, a specific product name or product number would be appreciated. E.g. HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0028ca or 5MT98UA#ABL
Information on how to find a laptop's product name or product number is detailed in this HP document. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Community. The difference between a product number and a serial number is that the product number contains a # sign)
Kind regards,
Eddy

Hey @EddyK,
I have a HP Spectre x360 - 13-ac010ca.
After restarting my computer for a second time, the webcam used to log me in via facial recognition worked and it also worked via Zoom for video conferences, but I am still having an issue getting it to work for FB Messenger. It says my computer is giving permission for video and audio, but it is still saying that I have not given permission.
